We took a drive up to Buttermere in the rain, passing through a very soggy
Borrowdale on the way. This was a dead easy walk, no problems navigating and no
hills or climbs. Just walk round Buttermere and look at the view (oh, and keep
putting the waterproofs on when it starts raining again). We came back by a
different route, pausing to admire Moss Force and make a mental note to return
to the Newland valley for a walk on some other, drier occasion.
